First and foremost, LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES is a school. We believe good working may – and must – be learnt. In the digital age, we need new skills to better cope with these requirements. We support companies on their way to a more contemporary way of working. Besides our transformation projects, we offer REDUCATIONS – let's say a kind of training courses over a longer, accompanied period of time, with a lot of input and inspiration, with the opportunity of practicing, of applying and of consolidating. And we organize RETREATS – to inspire and encourage reflection and change. It is about unlearning, relearning, trying out, a different perception and new experiences, but mainly about a good deal of (self)reflection. And it is about fun! The school is a pop-up school. It does not have a permanent location, but comes to wherever it is needed and wherever there is a good place for it. We also offer open courses but most of the time we are at the companies on site.
However, LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES is also a movement. It is a platform for people, companies and projects that already realize and/or support this new and mindful way of working. We want to show people what is out there, what happens where and who works with whom. The intention is to grow a network of people who inspire, converse with, consult and help one another. We want to write and speak about it thus reaching a broader awareness of the topic. And especially encourage other people to get involved, to change and to make a good contribution. It is about reassuming more responsibility for your own action – and not about complaining about bosses, colleagues, associates, the whole company and the world in general. It is all about action!
We decided to stop supporting the old working systems of against each other, power, hierarchy, higher, faster, bigger. In the digital age, they no longer make sense. Let alone the fact that they have never been particularly good for us. We experience this daily in our projects, and many surveys about unhappy and dissatisfied staff or about inefficient projects support this. Instead, we want to contribute to a new and good way of working. For happy and satisfied people. For a leadership that sees and develops people. For mindfulness in interaction with others and in the use of our resources. For new, collective ways of working that defy complexity and speed, and are compatible with the requirements of the digital age. Above all, however, we want to encourage people to trust their intuition that working can also be different, easier and more fun – yet responsible, efficient and economically effective. We want to support these people – for a modern way of working and cooperation, for a new attitude and new systems. That is the reason why we founded LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES.

DES ENFANTS TERRIBLES
The ENFANTS TERRIBLES are friends, partners, supporters of our school and movement. Most of them focus on the topics of new work and/or mindfulness in one way or another. Yet, sometimes we also have people join us who are interesting and inspiring, and are making a great contribution to this world – just by being Enfants Terribles.
For our REDUCATIONS we developed a curriculum with a mixture of digital, systemic and agile know-how combined with topics around mindfulness and collaboration. We believe that this knowledge and these skills are good and important in the digital age. The detailed content and individual steps are designed specifically for companies' requirements. The beginning of our open REDUCATIONS is in 2017. The exact time and place will be announced.
RETREATS are short formats for people who would like to rethink their way of working and are looking for inspiration and feedback. Their focus is on new work, leadership, creativity and/or mindfulness. Please note our next RETREATS: for NEW WORK on 23rd–26th March, 2017 and on 23rd–26th November, 2017, for MINDFUL WORK on 11th–14th May, 2017 and for NEW LEADERSHIP on 22nd–25th June, 2017. Working language for our current RETREATS is German. Together with you and your team, we also develop RETREATS specifically designed for your needs.
